A collection of short stories from the author of the Old Kingdom Trilogy. The fist story is set in the world of Sabriel, and focuses on a young man named Morghan, who joins The Bridge Company. Other stories in the collection are about his other books, with one set in the world of Confusion of Princes, one from Shade's Children, and other brilliant stories from the mind of Nix. It also includes stories about Hellboy and John Carter from Edgar Rice Burroughs Barsoom series. This collection has aliens, vampires, unicorns, and monsters all in one.

5 stars

The only problem with this book is that it is a collection of short stories and not a bookshelf of novels.

Garth Nix has a gift for creating characters that you really care about with just a few sentences.

I'm afraid the only thing stopping me from a complete Garth Nix binge is the time it takes for his books to become available at the library.
