When I was a child I used to play the videogame B-17 Flying Fortress... This story, the autobiography of a navigator of these kind of bombers, made me connect with my younger self.
The story is full of anecdotes, some of them funny, others grim. And the author also conveys his own weaknesses, failures and regrets.
It's wonderfuly written. That's a big plus.
