The Lost Apothecary

Sad I didn't like this one. It sounds really fun but lost the plot somewhere along the way. Wasn't so bad I didn't finish it but it was pretty boring.

Authors, if you ever feel the need to fill a page with two characters deciding how to Google info: don't.

Nothing too heavy plot-wise, but the format was fun and there was enough 'mystery' in the story to keep me engaged. A great holiday read.

Interesting book that illustrates the parallels of a modern day woman's choices and that of an older woman living in 18th Century London. Well written and researched, it is a mix of self-discovery and historical fiction.
