reviewed The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson & the Olympians ; #4)

So much has happened, it's making my head spin.

Evil forces stir and awaken in the fourth installment of the Percy Jackson series. Changes abound as well. Mr. Riordan, you have written yet another amazing page-turner. :D

None

A book of redemption and huge changes for the "Nerd Herd." Expertly written (as I've come to expect of P.C. Cast and her daughter Kristin), well-paced, and enchanting.

I can't wait to read the next one! :D

Re-read in 2018.
Original 2012 review: Excellent! It seems like Mr. Riordan did his research on the mythology (I loved all the little references to all sorts of Greek stories!). This was exciting, funny, and just a joy overall to read!

Doreen Virtue: Healing with the Fairies (Paperback, Hay House)

I knew I'd like this book from the first page. I wasn't expecting it to be so autobiographical, but having the messages from the elementals conveyed in this way was really neat. :D

This is the first of Doreen's books I've ever read, but I know I'll be picking up more of them at some point. ^__^ She'e really easy to understand, and the topics she talks about are very intriguing to me.

Eoin Colfer: Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex

It was certainly interesting and the whole Atlantis Complex subplot was pretty cool, but the ending left me going, "Really?"

I still love this amazing series, that's for sure. Can't wait for the next one!
