I just finished this book and enjoyed this retelling of "Pride and Prejudice". Zuri's voice provides a narration of her world and her pride in being herself. It was refreshing to read of a heroine who is confident in herself, her family and her neighborhood without hints of wanting to be something else. I also liked the insight of the story for the original book, this look helped me to understand Jane Austen's story better.
