This US review of the Soviet space race was very thorough. I especially enjoyed learning about figures like Korolev, who did so much to advance humanity’s journey into space.
It was shocking to learn how many sacrifices, and even inhumane choices, were made, all because of the Cold War. One can’t help but wonder where we would be today if we hadn’t needed such petty excuses to push humanity forward
