It's at this point of the adventure where it seems as if everything is in transition; either everyone got simply distracted by the orcs in finding the ancient Dwarven homeland, or the enemy goes deeper than anyone realized. And what with Drizzt at the end of it ... There is a definite cliffhanger here to the beginning of a longer tale. It's certainly closer to the beginning than the end.

It is at this point in the series where the author seems to indicate that one battle is over, and another one is begun. Wulfgar returns to his normal self, though not quite; seemingly, he still has a bit of an emotional hurdle to climb over.
For Drizzt, the scene is nearly no different. He, on the other hand, has to deal with the death of a victim who never should have been a victim. Bruenor is right. Ellifain killed herself. Only two places where the friends can seemingly end up. Who's going to Icewind Dale, and who to Mithril Hall?

Interesting diversion from the main plot. except, didn't think Wulfgar would recover his dignity. seems he did. He ought to go find Drizzt and the others.

Why the Crystal Shard ever fell out of the Companions of the Hall's hands, I don't know, but Jarlaxle can't keep that thing.

So good! Time for another adventure. As usual. Drizzt goes again, chasing after Catti-Brie. Wonder why ...?

You can only continue the legend at this point. Trust me.

Another of the great series. let's see where these adventures go next ... Is about all you can do at this point in the story.

The story isn't over just yet ... at least I don't think.

This can only get better.

This was one of the most revitting plots I've ever read. It's different from the "normal" fantasy provided by other authors.
