Review of 'Butchered by Healthcare' on 'Goodreads'

One of the more provocative accounts, but one of the best, if you want the inside scoop detailing what the industry of healthcare is really like in our day and age. It's a sad state of affairs, I'll warn you.

this is not an easy book to read, particularly for those in healthcare just trying to do their part for the patients who enter through their doors, but it serves as a warning to all, both the good and the bad actors on both sides. Pick it up. You'll see.

James Hitchcock: History of the Catholic Church (2012, Ignatius Press)

Review of 'History of the Catholic Church' on 'Goodreads'

One of the most in depth histories of my heritage faith ever written. I have to say; James does a great job documenting this mammoth of a religion, and he leaves no stone unturned. If you are Catholic, wanting to become so, or just curious about religion in general, this one is a highly recommended read.

"A practical guide to the magic of the feminine side of the Norse pantheon"--

Review of 'Norse goddess magic' on 'Goodreads'

One of the best books focusing on the feminine in Norse mythology. I love how down to earth the author is, and how she tells you things like they are, and doesn't try to conform to a certain view of belief when it comes to the Norse deities.

Kate Quinn: The Huntress (Paperback, William Morrow Paperbacks)

Review of 'The Huntress' on 'Goodreads'

This is one of the best WWII novels I have read in a long time; it does a fantastic job of painting pictures of three different women, while at the same time illuminating the culture of each, and at the same time not going into too much detail; just enough to keep readers on their toes.
