Sally Strange commented on Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon A. Chakraborty (Amina al-Sirafi, #1)
There have been so many twists and turns that I keep thinking the story must be almost done, but no, there's like a third of the book left to go. I love how queer the story is. The main character is a heterosexual woman who is trying to live within the bounds of her Muslim faith, but centering her frank desires for beautiful men is something that one doesn't find often, plus, multiple other characters are explicitly gay or trans. I can already tell I'm going to need to read the next two books in the trilogy!
