Great adventure
A nice break from the Seeker adventures yet still one in a way. This book also introduced us more into how this universe works. What the Voids really are, how travel works, the trinkets, and the systems in place.
There were a few errors, like how one gate was opened by this character but a few paragraphs later the gate was supposedly opened and closed by the other character. There was also a rule about using trinkets, a restriction on what you can use but was multiple times ignored in the rest of the novel. Or, I could have misunderstood this trinket rule/restriction.
Regardless of those, full 5 stars for book 3! Now, let's begin the real adventure in book 4!
Oh, didn't I mention how the characters grew? Well done on building them up and keeping them realistic, characters we can relate to.

Don't mess with Earthlings
Eight full novels. From the unexpected apocalypse on Earth in book 1 to an expected destruction of humanity in book 8. The desire for independence and freedom kept humanity fighting for survival in whatever means necessary. Will this hold true in the real world? In the real planet Earth? In the real Earthlings? Let us hope we are not tested this way.
Overall, this 8 book series was a great story of human values, strength, ingenuity, resiliency, survival, and loyalty. From each character we have seen how unique each human individual is and how individuality is important in the survival of everyone. It also showed us how any style of rule or government can be used for good or evil.
However, the series is not without its flaws in terms of grammatical errors, typos, and the constant switching of perspectives in dialogues and the narration that β¦

From each character we have seen how unique each human individual is and how individuality is important in the survival of everyone. It also showed us how any style of rule or government can be used for good or evil.
However, the series is not without its flaws in terms of grammatical errors, typos, and the constant switching of perspectives in dialogues and the narration that it becomes confusing. One moment it was third-person limited, the next it was third-person omniscient, all happening in the same scene or dialogue. There were also scenes that weren't clear on where the characters were. One instance they were talking via comm wormhole and then in the next paragraph, they were in the same area as the person they were talking too.
With that, for the whole series itself, I'm giving it 8 out of 10 stars.
I'm ignoring Book 2 which to me was only a huge chapter of introduction because I missed what it was all about. What was the plot. As it could be just me, I've ignored that lingering question and only considered the style, the characters, and presentation.
So, yes, 8 out of 10 stars for the entire 8-book series.
Should be made into a tv series of a blockbuster quadrilogy of films.

A unique galactic landscape!
This is better than most of Earthlings venturing out in space scifi around. It's more realistic in terms of the galactic territories and politics. It was also unique in that there are multiple "categories" or "sectors" that have wars, similarity in races, and purpose.

Heart stopping action! From a novel, imagine that. Book 4 can be turned into a blockbuster film with the latest in effects and technologies we have today.

Good! Good!
Now we're talking! A beautiful change on pace and story from Book 2. Well presented and much cleaner. A very memorable read worth dreaming.
