Profound theories

The best that I like in this novel are the profound theories presented. Most are new to me and some expounded on what I've come up with and what others formulated. It's like combining the best things together and solving all the questions without ending the universe. Love it!

The Hunted is Hot!

Hot action. Hot twists. War engulfing all facets of life and reality, from relationships to politics. Plunged into a world beyond words, we learn more of the challenges of our dear Vee as she faces everything thrown at her by whoever is behind everything. And things are only getting hotter…

Wow!

Straight to the action! That was awesome!

A common parallel worlds idea turned upside-down by using the Four Horsemen as the main characters. Giving these guys a complete character, personalities, unity and conflict, and love over the Fifth was well thought and unique.

The action continues

The action continues in book 2 of the series. The characters have more depth and their struggles are real, human or half human. Also amazing how our dear Fifth found her power without actually thinking about it and to abuse it, naturally inclined to take over control of the Four Horsemen.

A masterpiece of time

Reading the original for the first time made me realised how beautiful and exotic the future H.G. Wells's Time Traveler went to.

Definitely a very advanced picture of the future from the time he wrote this masterpiece. He might as well have actually met the Time Traveler as he had described in his book, and maybe he did!

Such wild, yet might very well be a prediction, imagination of the future. Descriptive but still left enough room for the reader's imagination. A true masterpiece, of time!

Introduction to a Temporal Universe

As always, it is refreshing to read a YA novel that isn't first-person. I take it that this is an introduction to a wider series as this first book lacks in the bit of adventure and concentrates more on character background and building the world.

Another good thing I noticed, split timelines were not used in this universe which itself is rare, it makes the time-travel more easier to understand for a wider audience. Good choice on that since we're also looking into a romance here.

Review of 'Fire in Frost' on 'GoodReads'

Crystal Frost Fires Up

I totally didn't expect it was about psychic abilities. It's direct to the point, which is nice, and there weren't overtly explanations of how psychic abilities work, which is great.

Using ghost and death as the first for the series was well thought, because it added not just suspense but heart-stopping "are you afraid of the dark" feel. When a story can make you emotionally attached or make your emotions react, it means it was an excellent work.
