Leer El misterio de la guía de ferrocarriles de Agatha Christie fue como quedar atrapado en un rompecabezas que parecía tener todas las piezas… pero encajaban demasiado bien. Desde la primera carta anónima dirigida a Poirot, supe que no me enfrentaba a un crimen común, sino a un asesino que buscaba atención, precisión y espectáculo. Y lo hacía siguiendo el alfabeto.

Cada asesinato parecía cuidadosamente planeado: A para Andover, B para Bexhill, C para Churston. Yo, igual que Poirot, intentaba anticiparme, analizar cada pista, encontrar sentido en esa lógica mecánica. Pero Christie, como siempre, llevaba la delantera. Justo cuando creía haber entendido, ella me hacía dudar de todo.
