The circle is half complete
And the circle is half complete. This is the most exciting I've read in the "Ones Before" universe. I started on Nightstalkers and finished Time Patrol before I started on this series. I've debated long how I'll do the "Ones Before" universe and I can truly say I made the right decision to read the three series in this particular order β it made this series, in particular this book, very heart pumping. The variables and probabilities were amazingly woven together without conflicting any established "canon".
Yes, I'm calling the Nighstalkers, Time Patrol, and Atlantis as the "Ones Before universe" together.

The series ends very beautifully
Closes to hard science I've ever read about time travel. Extensive research and well explained. I have similar concepts of time and it's fun to finally know what it's called by the "experts".

What a beautiful start to a new series
This novel is a beautiful beginning for this new series. If you thought the characters were well established in the Elemental Origins series, you're gravely mistaken, there are more to know about them.
I can say I have now fallen in loved with the Elementals universe of A.L. Knorr. There are so much more to it than what we've seen in the Elemental Origins.
This novel and series is more focused, personal. It sets a high bar for this series and all the rest of the post-Origins series to come. I am sure, A.L. Knorr will keep breaking that and surprise us.
